SILENT HILL Townfall St. Amelia Cast Hub
Simon, Zoe, Richard, and the creatures the pocket television was built to hear.
This hub is the map of every named person — and every unnamed thing — that walks St. Amelia with Simon. SILENT HILL: Townfall is still upcoming: September 24, 2026 on PlayStation 5, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. These pages are built from official bios, the August 25 gamescom cast reveal, KONAMI PRESS START messages, and the 18-minute gameplay trailer, not from a finished retail script. They exist because the CRTV is not only a radar. It is a switchboard. The voices that come through it are why Simon Ordell is on the island at all.
Townfall is a self-contained spin-off. You do not need Silent Hill 2 or Silent Hill f to follow who is calling whom. What you do need is a sense of the town as a phenomenon, not a US postal code. Screen Burn Interactive (the Glasgow studio formerly called No Code) set the story in 1996 on the fictional Scottish island of St. Amelia, modeled on the real fishing village of St. Monans in Fife. Writer and director Jon McKellan and composer Pilotpriest treat fog, analog static, and people as the same material. If you skip the cast, the pocket television is just a gadget. If you read the cast, it becomes a diary with other people’s names on it.
The three voices
Start with Simon Ordell. He is the protagonist: a man who wakes at the docks with an IV bag, a medical wristband, glasses, a beanie, and, in footage, a red gilet. Jovan Adepo (3 Body Problem, IT: Welcome to Derry, The Odyssey) voices him in English. A voice asks him to come back and “put things right.” He has almost no reliable memory of why. The hospital connection is hinted from the first minutes and never explained in marketing copy, which is the point. He is fragile in a fight. Play him that way, or the first creature in Shorefront will teach you.
Then open Zoe. She is a nurse at St. Amelia’s local family clinic. Kezia Burrows — Emma in Screen Burn’s previous game, Observation — speaks through layers of CRTV static and tells Simon to come back to her. Official text calls her compassionate and unable to turn a blind eye. She is entangled in the lives of residents and in the events that shaped the town. Zoe’s house is a major early location in the 18-minute trailer; the Shorefront walkthrough and puzzles pages treat those rooms as story, not as padlocks on a corridor.
Richard is the enigmatic man who summons Simon back to St. Amelia and sets the plot in motion. Terry O’Quinn (Lost, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live) voices him. Steam screenshots show a bald, bearded man in a suit. Official copy says his connection to the town and its troubled past becomes increasingly difficult to ignore. He is not a multiplayer partner. Townfall is single-player only. Whatever “working together” means in the bios is narrative, not a second controller.
Why the town’s people matter to the CRTV
The CRTV guide explains the hardware: a pocket television that replaced the classic Silent Hill radio. This hub explains why you bother to tune it. Signals are not flavor text. McKellan has said the puzzles are also story, and PlayStation Blog’s hands-on report ties CRTV fragments directly to Zoe’s past and to St. Amelia’s medical history. When the screen burns with static, something is near. When a voice cuts through, someone wants Simon in a specific room. Read the people first, then the gadget, or you will treat a confession as a waypoint marker.
The creatures and Otherworld page belongs here because Silent Hill’s monsters have always been people in another state. Previews show first-person fights, a ruined head with a plank-like or cleaver-like object (a Pyramid Head echo — not confirmed as Pyramid Head), red Otherworld lighting, and threats you cannot fight. Do not expect a named bestiary before launch. Expect types, and expect evasion. Pair that page with combat and stealth and how to survive when the silhouette is already in the alley.
Cast, language, and how to read these files
Konami revealed the English voice cast in a trailer on August 25, 2026 during gamescom Opening Night Live. The video on this page is that official cast reveal: Adepo, Burrows, and O’Quinn, in that order of billing. English is the recorded performance in the build press has played. At KONAMI PRESS START, Konami also highlighted a Japanese voice cast and played messages from the English actors, including Adepo; those messages are embedded on Simon’s page, which is a cast feature, not a Simon-only reel. Official Japanese materials name Hiroki Yasumoto as Simon, Yuko Kaida as Zoe, and Akio Otsuka as Richard, with Japanese voices slated for a launch-day update.
A first run is estimated at 10 to 14 hours with five endings. Three endings are reachable on a first playthrough; two wait in New Game+. Endings accumulate from how you search, hide, and fight, not from a last-second dialogue pick. Keep that in mind, then forget it until you finish. The endings overview stays spoiler-light because the game is not out yet.
These profiles will update from the updates hub after September 24. Until then they are preview-accurate, not a plot dump. If you have not decided on a platform, compare editions and confirm system requirements. New players should still start with getting started before they memorize a cast list. Controls from DualSense previews sit on controls. Official storefronts and social channels sit on links. New footage is logged under trailers. The release date page is the calendar if you only needed the day.
Read Simon, Zoe, Richard, then creatures, in that order. The CRTV will make more sense if you already know who is allowed to speak through it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for launch week and first-person survival.
Who are the main characters in SILENT HILL: Townfall?
The confirmed English leads are Simon Ordell (Jovan Adepo), nurse Zoe (Kezia Burrows), and Richard (Terry O’Quinn). Creatures are covered as visual types on the Otherworld page, not as a named roster.
Do I need other Silent Hill games to understand this cast?
No. Townfall is a self-contained spin-off set in 1996 St. Amelia. Series knowledge helps with tone. Plot locks do not require Silent Hill 2. Start with getting started if you are new.
Is Townfall multiplayer because Richard “works with” Simon?
No. The game is single-player only on PS5 and PC. Richard’s bio is story language, not a second player. There is no two-player display and no online multiplayer.
When was the Townfall cast revealed?
The English voice cast trailer ran on August 25, 2026 at gamescom Opening Night Live. It is the video on this page. Further actor messages ran at KONAMI PRESS START; see Simon’s profile and trailers.
Should I read characters or survival guides first?
If you have not learned peek and hide, open getting started and the CRTV guide. Come back here when a voice on the television needs a name.
