Trailers and Soundtrack

SILENT HILL: Townfall has a short, specific filmography. This page lists the official trailers and studio features you can actually watch, with titles and watch links. Only one video is embedded here: Pilotpriest’s Home composer feature. Other films are linked, not stacked as extra players. The game is still upcoming — September 24, 2026 worldwide, Deluxe 48-hour early access on September 22 — so treat every clip as a preview of St. Amelia, not as a finished retail capture.

If you need dates rather than footage, use release date and platforms. Storefront bonuses live on the pre-order guide. The updates hub embeds the June 2026 release-date trailer. Survival systems belong in the guides hub.

Official trailers, in order

2022 teaser (October). Townfall was announced during a Silent Hill Transmission with a short, hostile monologue over analog static and a pocket television. It named the project and the then-studio No Code. It did not show first-person combat, Shorefront houses, or a date. Keep it as origin folklore, not as a controls lesson.

Official Reveal Trailer — February 12, 2026. The first proper look, shown at PlayStation State of Play and followed by a Silent Hill Transmission. First-person movement, the CRTV, fogged streets, and the voice that would later be named. This is the film that answered “is this still alive?” after years of silence. Watch it before the long gameplay cut so the 18-minute piece is an expansion, not your first image of Simon.

Official release date trailer — June 2, 2026. State of Play again. Locks September 24, shows more of the marina-adjacent streets, and went out with ESRB-tagged and regional cuts. Pre-orders opened the same day. The updates hub embeds this one; this page only links it so we are not running two players.

18-minute gameplay — August 20, 2026. The most useful public look at Shorefront: docks, houses, a first creature, and the Otherworld stain that turns a tenement wrong. Konami and PlayStation both posted long cuts. Use this with the walkthrough and puzzles if you want rooms in order, and with combat and stealth if you are studying peek and swing. It is still a directed capture, not a full 10–14 hour campaign.

Cast trailer — August 25, 2026 (gamescom Opening Night Live). Puts faces to names, including the man who summons Simon back to the island. Read Richard, Zoe, and the characters hub after you watch so the credits are not just a poster. It does not replace the gameplay film for systems.

Studio features

Screen Burn published two “Inside Screen Burn” pieces after the reveal, walking the Glasgow team, the CRTV as a physical prop, and why first-person was a design requirement rather than a trend chase.

Watch these if you care who is making the game: Screen Burn Interactive, the rebrand of No Code in July 2025, about thirty people, co-published by Konami and Annapurna Interactive. They are not walkthroughs. They will not teach you L1 peek or how to hide in a Shorefront closet. For that, stay in getting started and controls.

Soundtrack: Pilotpriest and “Home”

The score is by Anthony Scott Burns, working as Pilotpriest. Screen Burn’s writer-director Jon McKellan announced the collaboration after the reveal trailer, and the studio posted Home as a first public cue — fogged St. Amelia stills over a theme that is more analog dread than a jump-scare sting. That feature is the embed on this page. Official copy also credits a fully dynamic soundtrack that twists with player and enemy action, and lists Byron Bullock (Alien Isolation) on the sound-design side.

Deluxe digital editions include a mini soundtrack of highlights from the in-game score, delivered inside the Bonus Application with the art book. It is not advertised as every cue in the campaign. If you are buying Deluxe for music, you are buying a curated mini set plus 48-hour early access and Simon’s alternate outfit — details on editions and the pre-order guide.

Akira Yamaoka is not the Townfall composer. If a thumbnail promised “Yamaoka returns,” it is mixing this spin-off with another Silent Hill release. Pilotpriest is the name on the cue you hear in Home and in the long gameplay film.

How to watch without spoiling yourself

A reasonable order if you have not seen anything: reveal trailer, Home (this page), release-date trailer, then decide whether you want the 18-minute gameplay before you play. The long cut shows creature silhouettes, Otherworld geometry, and several Shorefront interiors. That is useful for the how to survive mindset and rough for a blind first night. The cast trailer is safe if you already accept that Richard exists.

This wiki does not invent extra video IDs. If a recap channel re-uploads a Konami film, prefer the official watch links above. After launch, new patches will be noted on the updates hub; new films, if Konami posts them, will be added here with titles rather than as a second embed. Official social posts often land first on @SilentHill and @silenthill_jp — those accounts are listed with storefronts on links.

Until September 24, the useful footage is still this short list: a teaser, a reveal, a date lock, a long gameplay capture, a cast film, two studio features, and a composer cue. Watch those. Ignore anything that claims multiplayer footage or a different platform.
