SILENT HILL Townfall Japanese Voice Cast

Yasumoto, Kaida, and Otsuka — Japanese audio as a launch-day update, not a day-zero disc extra.

Japanese Voice Cast

Konami named the Japanese voice cast for SILENT HILL: Townfall at KONAMI PRESS START on September 3–4, 2026. The three confirmed leads match the English billing: Simon Ordell, nurse Zoe, and Richard. The CERO-tagged film on this page is the Japanese cast reveal trailer. Watch it as a cast card. It is not a gameplay lesson and it is not proof that a physical PS5 disc already contains both language tracks.

The game is still upcoming. Worldwide release is September 24, 2026 on PlayStation 5, Steam, and the Epic Games Store, with Deluxe 48-hour early access on September 22. Japanese voice arrives in a launch-day update. It is not necessarily in the disc or in a day-0 English-only build. If you boot a Standard disc at midnight and the menu only offers English audio, that is the situation Konami already described, not a region-lock surprise. Wait for the update. Official Japanese materials live on Konami’s Japanese Townfall site.

Townfall is single-player. There is single-player only. A second language track is still one player in St. Amelia.

The three names Konami printed

Simon Ordell — 安元洋貴 (Hiroki Yasumoto). English performance: Jovan Adepo (3 Body Problem, IT: Welcome to Derry, The Odyssey). Yasumoto is the Japanese voice. Simon wakes at the docks with an IV bag, a wristband, and a CRTV that will not stop talking. Adepo is the performance press sessions have played. Yasumoto is the launch-day counterpart, not a different protagonist. Character file: Simon Ordell.

Zoe — 甲斐田裕子 (Yuko Kaida). English performance: Kezia Burrows, who was Emma in Screen Burn’s previous game Observation (the studio was then called No Code). Kaida is the Japanese voice. Zoe is St. Amelia’s clinic nurse; her voice reaches Simon through CRTV static and asks him to come back. Official copy calls her compassionate and entangled in the town’s people and events. Profile: Zoe.

Richard — 大塚明夫 (Akio Otsuka). English performance: Terry O’Quinn (Lost, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live). Otsuka is the Japanese voice. Richard is the enigmatic man who summons Simon back to the island and asks him to put some things to rest. Bios say the two must work together to survive; that is story language, not a second controller. File: Richard.

This wiki will not invent extra Japanese roles around them. If a recap thumbnail promised a fourth lead, it is guessing. The characters hub is the map of everyone Konami has actually billed in English and Japanese. Creatures remain unnamed types on monsters.

English already in the build; Japanese on the update

English is the recorded performance in the build press has played, and it is the full-audio track Steam lists today. Interface and subtitles on PC also cover Japanese as text — that row is not the same thing as Yasumoto, Kaida, and Otsuka in your speakers. Text language can be in the day-zero install. Spoken Japanese is the launch-day update.

A PS5 Standard disc is English-first hardware. Deluxe is digital-only and still follows the same audio plan: you download the campaign, then you take the voice update when Konami ships it. This page will not invent a settings-menu path that previews did not show. After September 24, if a patch note names the toggle, the updates hub will point at it.

Do not delay a Deluxe September 22 boot waiting for Japanese audio unless you are willing to play the early-access window in English. Early access is the campaign clock, not the language-pack clock. Preload sizes and the PS5 51.172 GB listing sit on preload and file size. They are not a promise that the Japanese bank is inside the first download.

How this fits the rest of the cast calendar

English leads were revealed on August 25, 2026 during gamescom Opening Night Live. That trailer is embedded on the characters hub. KONAMI PRESS START in early September added the Japanese names and played actor messages; Adepo’s message is on Simon’s page as a cast feature, not a Simon-only reel. The CERO reveal on this page is the Japanese-language film. Three videos, three jobs. This wiki embeds one player per page on purpose.

Other official films — reveal, 18-minute gameplay, Pilotpriest’s Home, Inside Screen Burn — stay on trailers and soundtrack. Soundtrack credit remains Pilotpriest (Anthony Scott Burns). Japanese voices do not change the composer.

St. Amelia is still a fictional 1996 Scottish island based on St Monans, Fife. Silent Hill here is a phenomenon, not a Maine guest list. Switching to Yasumoto does not import Pyramid Head, and switching to Adepo does not make the island American. Play the language you want to hear. The getting started loop — peek, hide, tune — does not change with the voice bank.

If you are still choosing a copy, use editions, pre-order, and release date. PC specs are on system requirements. Official storefronts and social accounts, including @silenthill_jp, are collected on links. Bookmark Konami’s Japanese site for the first-party wording if a recap disagrees with the kanji above.

English is already in the build. Japanese is a launch-day update. Treat the CERO reel as a cast card, not as proof the disc already speaks both.

Not necessarily. Konami said Japanese voice arrives in a launch-day update, not as a guaranteed day-0 or disc track. English is the build press has played.

Where is the official Japanese page?

Konami’s [Japanese Townfall site](https://www.konami.com/games/silenthill/townfall/jp/ja/). This wiki is unofficial; trust that page if a recap disagrees.
